Eric's career began in the hot, sweaty kitchens of fine dining restaurants in and around Washington D.C. His passion for food and hospitality took him to Europe, South Carolina, and Virginia, where he settled as an apprentice under famed chef Yannick Cam at the now defunct Le Relais.
Despite his classical French training as a Poissionnier, Eric discovered a love for innovation and consulting at world renowned design firm IDEO, where he helped craft IDEO’s messaging and worked on projects ranging from brand strategy to food and beverage development.
After leaving IDEO, Eric joined The Culinary Edge to merge his passions of business, consulting and food. Eric holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University.
